There may be some people who might be offended
by these statements if they are of the
Catholic faith.

The purpose of these statements are to reveal the truth and
to glorify our Lord and Savior Jesus. They are not intended
to be offensive in any way.

God "Desires all people to be saved and to come to the
knowledge of the truth", and Jesus Christ is that truth.
1 Timothy 2:4

The Roman Catholic Church is known to be the largest
religious organization in the world, with over 1.4 billion
adherents to its doctrines and teachings.

There are so many people who are being deceived by this
religion.

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the
kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father
in heaven.
Many will say to Me in that day,
‘Lord, Lord, have we not
prophesied
in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and
done many wonders
in Your name?’ depart from Me,
you who practice lawlessness!’
Matthew 7:15-23

The Roman Catholic teachings contradicts the Bible repeatedly,
the traditions are taught and practiced, even though they
are against the Bible.

They claim to be the church that Jesus started, and that the
humble fisherman the apostle Peter is their first pope.

But if that was true, then why are they called ‘Catholics’, a
word that appears nowhere in the Bible?
And why are they from Rome?

The truth is:
The apostles actually begin in Jerusalem and then spread
to Greece.
And Rome was the sworn enemy of the band of Jewish
believers that would come to be called Christians.

Catholics are taught that God's truth is found in many different
sources outside of the Bible.
That is a lie.
They teach that the Bible, the word of God, is not enough.

Catholics often say that it was their church that gave us
the Bible.
They claim this when they defend their "Sacred Tradition,"
so that they might support added Biblical teachings such
as purgatory, penance, indulgences, and Mary worship.

Tobit, Judith, Wisdom, I & II Maccabees are just some of
the added books to form the Catholic Bible.

The Catholic church consider these books as scripture.
They put these books together and are to be received and
venerated as the Word of God.

'For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of
this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him
the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes
away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall
take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city,
and from the things which are written in this book.'
Revelation 22:18-19

The Bible tells us to obey the Word of God, to not go beyond
the written Word
.

'Now these things, brethren, I have figuratively transferred to
myself and Apollos for your sakes, that you may learn in us
not to think beyond what is written, that none of you may
be puffed up on behalf of one against the other.'
1 Corinthians 4:6

The Roman Catholic Church is full of images.
These things are held to be sacred objects worthy of
high regard.

Catholics do not believe they are committing idolatry.
They have been cleverly taught to believe that they do not
worship these idols; they simply venerate them.
The problem is that veneration still gives honor and reverence
to something and/or someone other than God; therefore,
veneration is idolatry.

Catholics are taught that adoring of statues are no different
than a picture of your family and loved ones, and feeling love
and admiration.
We know that no one worships God by bowing and praying to
a photo of their spouse and/or children.

“You shall not make yourself a carved image or any likeness of
anything in heaven or on earth beneath or in the water under
the earth; you shall not bow down to them or serve them”.
Exodus 20:4-5

The Roman Catholic Church teaches that after
death, everyone who has sinned will go to "purgatory",
where they will face punishment for their sins.
After that, they are then allowed into the heavenly kingdom,
once they have paid for their sins.

“All who die in God’s grace and friendship, but still imperfectly
purified, are indeed assured of their eternal salvation, but after
death they undergo purification, so as to achieve the holiness
necessary to enter the joy of heaven.”
Catechism of the Catholic Church

Even as born again believers, we will still make mistakes and
do something that is sinful from time to time, because none of
us are perfect.
Only Jesus is perfect, and He sacrificed His life to pay for all
of our sins, once and for all.

"But that you may know that the Son of Man ( Jesus ) has
power on earth to forgive sins”
Matthew 9:6

As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one;
There is none who understands; There is none who seeks
after God.
They have all turned aside; They have together become
unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one.”
Romans 3:10-12

"He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
"
Isaiah 53:5

God sent his only beloved Son, Jesus as a sacrifice to
pay the penalty for our sins by death on the cross,
so that we may be able to live in eternal life with God.

You can not work and earn your way into Heaven,
it is a free gift from God.

'For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal
life in Christ Jesus our Lord.'
Romans 6:23

'For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that
not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,'
Ephesians 2:8

Nowhere in God's Word does it say that people go to
purgatory, simply because it does not exist.

We are already cleansed, declared righteous, forgiven,
redeemed, reconciled, and sanctified through Jesus.

To those who except and put their faith in Jesus, when
you die, go straight to Heaven.

'We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from
the body and to be present with the Lord.'
2 Corinthians 5:8

Purgatory was a pagan idea.
Virgil, the pagan Latin poet who lived 70 - 19 B.C. divided the
departed souls into three different places.
One for the good, one for the damned, and a third where the
less bad could pay for their sins.

The Catholic church teaches that if you say enough prayers
for the dead, or give enough money, then the deceased
will be transferred from hell, to heaven.

Praying for the dead is unbiblical.
The Bible says that our eternal destiny is determined by our
actions while we are still alive.

We should pray for and comfort those who are grieving when
someone loses a loved one, but not for the dead.

The time to pray for someone is while they're still alive.
God gives us the free will to choose and have faith in God,
being secure in our eternal life in heaven, or we can choose
to turn from God and live apart from Him.

Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while
He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous
man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord,
And He will have mercy on him; And to our God,
For He will abundantly pardon.
Isaiah 55:6-7

You can not pray or pay anyone’s way out of Hell.
Hell is a permanent place of torment.

You can not buy your way into heaven or out of hell with
money.
You must be saved by accepting Jesus as your personal
savior.

'Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things,
like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition
from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ,
as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.'
1 Peter 1:18-19

The pope, according to Roman Catholic teaching, is the vicar
of Christ, Christ’s personal representative on earth.

Jesus said there would be a replacement ( helper ) for His
physical presence here on earth.
However, this “vicar of Christ” is not a priest, bishop, or pope.
The only biblical “Vicar of Christ” is the Holy Spirit.

“If you love Me, keep My commandments.
And I will pray the Father ( God ), and He will give you another
Helper, that He may abide with you forever - the Spirit of truth,
whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees
Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells
with you and will be in you."

“These things I have spoken to you while being present with you.
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in
My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your
remembrance all things that I said to you."
John 14:15-17, 25-26

Although the Pope is the head of the Roman Catholic church,
the Bible tells us that Jesus Christ has all authority in
heaven and on earth.
Matthew 28:18, Colossians 1:18

The Roman Catholic Church is one of the most dangerous
religions out there.

'And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an
angel of light.'
2 Corinthians 11:14

The Catholic church teaches that there is no salvation outside the
Roman Catholic church.
To say that salvation lies only within the Roman Catholic Church is
blasphemous against the only One who can save us, which is
Jesus Christ.

The Roman Catholic Church believes that faith alone in Christ is not
sufficient for salvation.

The Bible clearly states that receiving Jesus Christ as Savior, by
grace through faith, grants salvation.
John 1:12; 3:16,18, 36; Acts 16:31;
Ephesians 2:8-9
Romans 10:9-10, 13;

Not only it is the grace of God a Free Gift to anyone, but Jesus
Paid the Full Price for our sins.

"The Church affirms that for believers the sacraments of the
New Covenant are necessary for salvation."
Catechism of the Catholic Church

The teachings of the Roman Catholic Church is that a person must
receive the Eucharist along with the other sacraments, plus obey
the decrees of the Roman Catholic Church, and perform
meritorious works and not die with any mortal sins.

They teach that it is better to give alms than to lay up gold; for alms
doth deliver from death, and shall purge away all sin.
That is completely false.

You can not be saved by works or buy your way into salvation.

'For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of
yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone
should boast.'

Ephesians 2:8-9
