God wants you to be happy.


It is healthy for God's children to laugh often.

It takes more muscles to frown than to smile.
So turn that frown upside down.

Smiling is good for you as well as laughter.
Smiling lowers
stress and anxiety,
smiling releases endorphins ( the same
chemicals
you get from working out or running, resulting in

what is known as a runner's high).

Laughing expands the lungs, stretches the muscles
in the body and stimulates homeostasis.
This exercises the body, replenishing the cells
from a lungful of oxygen and gaining all the
benefits of exercising the body.

Endorphins make us feel happier and less stressed.
They also act as the body's natural pain killers.

For sufferers of chronic pain, laughing and smiling
can be very effective in pain management, as can laughing
off the pain when you bump an elbow, etc.

While the release of endorphins in increased,
the stress hormone cortisol is reduced.

Cortisol is more active when when we feel stressed
or anxious and contributes to the unpleasant feelings
we experience, and by lowering it, we can reduce these
negative feelings.

Smiling strengthens your immune system, it also helps
boost
your mood, and feel better.
The next time you feel stressed, try
smiling to calm
yourself down.


Smiling helps to generate more positive emotions
within you.

Think happy positive thoughts and put a smile on
your face
so that positive opportunities can find you.

Smiling changes your attitude, whether you realize it
or not.
If
you have doubts, next time you feel down, start smiling
and
think positive thoughts and see what happens.

The benefits of
laughter is:

helps overcome anger, strengthens relationships,
etc.

Laughter increases the activity of antibodies in the body by 20%,
helping destroy viruses and tumor cells.

Laughter helps you keep a positive, optimistic outlook
through difficult situations. And it is contagious.

Don't get stuck on the one thing that ruins your day.
Smile and be happy.
Life is too short to waste on negativity.
Laughter is the best antidote for anxiety and depression.
It
lightens burdens.
It is the direct route to serenity and
contentment.

Laugh because the promises of God belong to you already.
Laughter and joy are related to answered prayer and
fulfillment of God's promises.
