"And they shall teach My people the difference between
the Holy and the profane, and cause them to discern
between the unclean and the clean."

Ezekiel 44:23

The colors of orange and black can be traced
back to church masses for the dead which were
held during November.
Orange colored candles were used, and black
cloths covered ceremonial caskets.
These colors were associated with death.

Both Christian and Jew are forbidden to participate in the
occult practices
Deuteronomy 18:10.

Necromancing is the delving into contacting the dead.
God said all such practice was an abomination to Him.

Some may reply, "But we only do this in fun...we don't practice
witchcraft."
That which represents the devil and his domain can not be handled
or emulated "for fun".
Such participation places you in enemy and
forbidden territory and that is dangerous ground.

Witches you see for Halloween don't really wear black hats and
ride on brooms.
Yes, there really are self professed witches, wiccan
and pagans who practice their beliefs today.

Even today witchcraft practitioners declare October 31st
as the most conducive time to practice their arts.

There are many people who claim that one can be
a "witch" and also a "Christian".
That's a deceptive lie!

All forms of horoscopes, Tarot cards, psychics,
palm readings, fortune telling, crystal balls, Ouija boards,
astrology, worshiping or contacting the dead, and sorcery
are of the Devil.
This includes the veneration (worshiping) of the dead.

The Christian church tried to eliminate the Druid celebration by
offering All Saint's Day a
s a substitute.

Not all witches are practicing satanists.
Modern witches of the Celtic
(pronounced Kell-tick) tradition
adhere to Wicca (a form of witch- craft), and are members of
the Church of Wicca.

For most Wiccan practitioners, they believe Samhain is
the New Year, and a time for letting go of the old and
looking ahead to the new.
It marks the end of the harvest season.
Since ancient times, Pagans have paid their respects to
departed loved ones (the dead), ancestors, and
guides in the Spirit World at Samhain.

They also believe the Goddess manifests as the
Crone and the God as the Horned Hunter and
Lord of Death.

It is recognized by the government as an organized religion.
However, witchcraft and satanism are within the same household.
Wiccans worship nature, the creature rather than the Creator.
Satanists perform witchcraft, which specifically
invokes the powers of the devil, and whose traditions
and practices are in many cases without a coven
(an assembly of 13 witches).
Halloween is their most sacred day of the year.

One of the basic tenets in witchcraft is to control the will of another
by use of fear.
Even in jest, when one threatens to punish if a treat or offering
is not given, they are imitating an occult practice of controlling the
will of another by use of fear.

Witches and Satanists love Halloween.
They get a lot of media coverage around that time of year.
It's good P.R. (public relations) for them.
That coverage usually portrays them in a favorable light.
In addition, it generates interest in "the craft" and is good
for recruitment purposes.

As Craig Hawkins put it, "With increasing vigor, witchcraft is coming
out of the broom closet.'
Many witches are actively seeking public understanding and acceptance."
(quote from an article in Christian Research Journal; Winter/Spring
1990 entitled "The Modern World of Witchcraft"
by Craig S. Hawkins.)

Despite the public relations campaign to "sell" the public
on the "virtues" of witchcraft, modern day witches
and Satanists still worship demon gods & goddesses,
practice bizarre & immoral sexual rituals, and certain
groups offer animal and human sacrifices.

Halloween is an evil day.
Halloween honors Satan, idol worship, immorality, demonic rituals
and human sacrifice.
Halloween is not a day you want to celebrate because of what
it stands for.

The Bible warns us, "...the things which the Gentiles
sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God:
and I would not that ye should have fellowship
with devils."
1 Corinthians 10:20

Did you know that even the Jack-O-Lantern has its origin with these
pagan practices?

In the book Occult Conceit the author says on page 190,
"The candlelit pumpkin or skull served as a signal to mark those farms
and homes that were sympathetic to the Satanists and thus deserving
of mercy when the terror ("trick or treat") of the night began."

Further, an old edition of The World Book
Encyclopedia says "The apparently harmless
lighted pumpkin face of the Jack-O-Lantern
is an ancient symbol of a damned
soul."

According to folklore, Jack-O-Lanterns were named for a man
called Jack, who could not enter heaven or hell.
As a result, he was doomed to wander in darkness
with his lantern until judgment day.
With this in mind, people began to hollow out
pumpkins and turnips, placing candles inside
to scare evil spirits from their houses.

Occultists also would try to scare
away the spirits by carving a
scary face into a pumpkin.
This horrible visage would hopefully move the spirit on to another
home or village and spare that home from destruction.

Sometimes villagers would light a candle and
place it within the pumpkin and use it as a lantern
(hence the name, Jack-o-Lantern).
This is the origin of carving pumpkins at Halloween.

John 3:16 makes it clear that no one has to be outside of heaven.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His
only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in
Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
It is also clear that if any individual refuses to trust
Jesus as Savior, he is condemned already.
John 3:18 & 36

There is no wandering. It is either Heaven or Hell depending on
whether you have trusted Jesus as your Savior,
John 14:6; Romans 10:9-13; Ephesians 2:8-9

Trick or treat:

This practice originated through the belief that these
spirits, returned from the devil’s domain,
could and would cast spells to torment the living.

Fires were built to ward off these spirits from the
homes, and treats were placed on the
doorsteps to prevent them from playing their
tricks on that particular house and land.

The wearing of masks and costumes also came from the Druids.
During this night of rituals they sacrificed animals
and sometimes humans.
Often they wore the skins of these animals.
Dressed in this way, they would engage in fortune telling.
Villagers also dressed in hideous masks
and costumes in an effort to disguise
themselves from the spirits.

'No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue
which rises against you in judgment shall condemn. This is the
heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness
is from Me,” Says the Lord.'
Isaiah 54:17
