Salvation:

God's way, God's words, God's world.
 
It's not a religion, and it's much more than having your
sins forgiven, it's a personal relationship with God.

Jesus said  "I am the way, the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father (God) Except through Me".
John 14:6

"When a person believes in Me (Jesus), they do not believe in Me
only, but in the One ( God the Father) who sent Me."
John. 12:44, 45

All that is needed to satisfy God is to trust in Jesus Christ.



Religion:

Man's way, Man's words, Man's world.

When you trust in religion you remain lost in your sins.

Religion is like counterfeit money​, it may look like the real thing,
but it is worthless.

If you try all the religious stuff, such as:

Pray endlessly, count beads, burn candles, pay money, rack up bonus
points, spend your life in good works, chant, quote creeds, perform rites
and ceremonies etc.
You'll end up in a frustrated heap, like a dog chasing its tail.
It's a waste of time and energy, utterly useless to save you from
the guilt of sin.

Why? Because:

'All our righteous acts are like filthy rags.'
Isaiah 64:6

When you sincerely trust in the Lord Jesus Christ you’ll be Saved.

Jesus Christ has nothing to do with religion.
He did not come to bring religion.  He never had a religion.
He didn't start a religion... And He certainly never
proclaimed religion.

All religion is a sham, false, man-made, and devil
inspired to keep people at arm's length from God.

Jesus came to bring Salvation. No religion will ever give you that.
