Never:

There's never a teardrop that God doesn't see,

He knows when a sparrow falls from a tree.
There's never a moment when God doesn't care,
Never a time that He won't hear your prayer.

With God Nothing is Too Hard:

What is impossible, for me and you, to God it's
not hard to do.

There's no promise that God can't fulfill, there is no fear
He can't distill.

All of God's promises are for us to receive,
all we have to do is to trust and believe.

When you are hurting:

When you are hurting and you don't know just what to do.
Just call on Jesus, for He cares what is happening to you.

When Family and friends just don't understand.
Jesus knows just what you are feeling for He is not like man.

He is the Comforter, and He is able to calm your every fear.
And He will always be there to wipe away your tears.

Everything that you are going through,
Jesus has already been there.
He is able to feel your hurt, and He will answer your prayers.

But you must learn to trust Him, in the good times and
in the bad.

For he will give you Joy,
when your heart is feeling sad.

So don't wait another minute, call on Him today.
For He alone,
can make a way out of no way.

Never Alone:

I'm never alone in the morning  As I rise at the break of
the day,

For Jesus who watched through the darkness Says,
"Lo, I am with you alway".

I'm never alone at my table though loved ones no longer
I see:

For dearer than all who have vanished is Jesus who breaks
bread with me.

I'm never alone through the daylight,
Though nothing but trials I see.
Though the furnace be seven times heated
The "form of the fourth" walks with me.

I'm never alone at the twilight,  when darkness around
me doth creep,

  And specters press hard round my pillow.
He watches and cares while I sleep.

I'm walking and talking with Jesus each day as I travel along.
I'm never alone, Hallelujah!
The joy of the Lord is my song.

I Got up Early One Morning:

I got up early one morning And rushed right into the day
I had so much to accomplish That I didn’t have time to pray.

Problems just tumbled about me And heavier came each task
“Why doesn’t God help me?” I wondered
He answered, “You didn’t ask.”

I wanted to see joy and beauty but the day toiled on,
grey and bleak

I wondered why God didn’t show me He said,
“But you didn’t seek.”

I tried to come into God’s presence I used all my keys at the lock
God gently and lovingly chided “My child, you didn’t knock.”

I woke up early this morning and paused before entering the day
I had so much to accomplish that I had to take time to pray.

A Poem of Hope:

I feel the arms of God around me, as I lay on my bed at night.
Asleep, I feel the Angel's touch- I'm surrounded and held tight.

I don't know why it is, that God should love me so,
that he would send His only Son, to hang there on Death-row.

He guards me night and day, always bringing love and hope.
Somehow, I know I will survive, for He will help me cope.

As a father has compassion on his child, so my Lord has
compassion on me.
I know I can count on him - There is nowhere from His love
I want to flee.

I Refuse to be Discouraged:

I refuse to be discouraged, To be sad, or to cry;
I refuse to be downhearted, and here's the reason why:

I have a God who's mighty, Who's sovereign and supreme;
I have a God who loves me, and I am on His team.

He is all-wise and powerful. Jesus is His name;
Though everything is changeable, my God remains the same.

My God knows all that's happening; beginning to the end;
His presence is my comfort; He is my dearest Friend.

When sickness comes to weaken me, to bring my head
down low,
I call upon my mighty God; into His arms I go.

When circumstances threaten to rob me of my
peace;
He draws me close unto His breast, where all my strivings
cease.

When my heart melts within me, and weakness takes control;
He gathers me into His arms, He soothes my heart and soul.

The great "I AM" is with me. My life is in His hand;
The "Son of the Lord" is my hope, It's in His strength I stand.

I refuse to be defeated, my eyes are on my God;
He has promised to be with me, as through this life I trod.

I'm looking past all my circumstances, to Heaven's throne above;
My prayers have reached the heart of God I'm resting in His love.

I give God thanks in everything. my eyes are on His face;
The battle's His, the victory mine; He'll help me win the race.

To Trust You Is To Believe:

Sometimes it seems impossible to trust in you, my Lord,
but then again, it's all I have when my back's against
the wall

The pressures forever mounting up and worsens with little hope,
though I pray and leave it with you, it's so hard for me to cope

I know, O Lord, you teach us patience especially at those times,
You want us to trust completely, though answers are hard to find

And there are times it seems as though You have stepped back
from us,
we feel so much alone in our mess not knowing, you're
watching with love

You never really leave us, Lord, nor forsake us in our need,
You only want us to trust you and in your word believe

You know the circumstances we're in and know the struggles
we face, the situation, when given to you, can empower our
faltering faith

For in your word we're told to give to you all our anxieties
and all the worries and fears we have,
praying for the needed victory

For in due course you will come through to bring the needed
relief

and through it all we shall develop a stronger and deeper
belief.

Money:

Money will buy:
A bed, but not sleep.  Books, but not brains.
Food, but not appetite.
A house, but not a home.
Medicine, but not health.
Amusement, but not happiness. Finery, but not beauty.
A crucifix, but not a Savior.

Mary's Little Lamb:

Mary had a little Lamb,
His fleece was white as snow.

And everywhere that Mary went,

The Lamb was sure to go.

He followed her to school each day,
When it was not against the rules.

He made the children laugh and play,
To have a Lamb at school.

Then the rules changed one day,
Against the law it became.
To bring the Lamb of God to school,
Or even speak His Name.

Every day got worse and worse,
And days turned into years.
Instead of hearing children laugh and play,
You heard them crying tears.

What must we do to stop the crime,
That's in our schools today?
Let the Lamb come back to school,
And teach our kids to pray.

Don't Quit:

When things go wrong as they sometimes will;
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill;
When the funds are low, and the debts are high;
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh;
When care is pressing you down a bit -
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Success is failure turned inside out;
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt;
And you can never tell how close you are;
It may be near when it seems afar.
So, stick to the fight when you're hardest hit -
It's when things go wrong that you mustn't quit.

The Road:

There is a curve called Failure...
A loop called Confusion...
Speed bumps called Friends...
Red lights called Enemies...
Caution lights called Family...
You will have flats called Jobs...

BUT..

If you have a spare called Determination...
An engine called Perseverance...
Insurance called Faith...
A driver called Jesus...

You will make it to a place called SUCCESS!

The Bible is my Road Map:

The Bible is my road map Which guides me night and day;
It keeps me from a wrong turn When I start to go astray.

If directions are confusing, Or a caution sign appears,
I search the Bible scriptures For the rightful way to steer.

It directs me through dry valleys, Over bridges high and low,
By the fields of fresh green meadows,
Towards the plains of harvest gold.

As I reach my destination, I thank the Lord above
For my mountaintop and road map
And His everlasting love.

by Key Blake-Medley

Risks:

To laugh is to risk appearing a fool.
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.
To reach out for another is to risk involvement.
To expose feelings is to risk rejection.
To place your dreams before the crowd is to risk ridicule.
To love is to risk not being loved in return.
To go forward in the face of overwhelming odds is to risk
failure.

But risks must be taken because the greatest hazard in life
is to risk nothing.

The person who risks nothing does nothing has nothing,
is nothing.

He may avoid suffering and sorrow  but he cannot learn,
feel, change, grow or love.

Chained by his certitudes, he is a slave.
He has forfeited his freedom.
Only a person who takes risks is free.

Unforsaken Love:

As they put a crown of thorns on his head,
He was putting a crown of victory on mine.
When he was carrying the cross,
He was carrying my burdens.
As they was driving nails in his hands,
He was driving love in my heart. As he shed his blood,
My sins was being cleansed.
As he said "Father forgive them",
He was asking God to forgive me.
As he died, He gave me life.
As he was resurrected, He went to prepare a place for me.
As Jesus did it for me, He has also done it for you.
Only when you accept him in your heart.
Will you find Unforsaken Love.

Footprints in the Sand:

One night a man had a dream.
He was walking along the beach
with the Lord
and across the sky
flashed scenes from his life.

In each scene, he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand;
one made by him, and the other
by the Lord.

When the last scene of his life flashed
before him
he looked back at the
footprints in the sand.

He noticed that many times along
the path of his
life there was only
one set of footprints.

He also noticed that it happened at the
worst times in his life.
This bothered him very much,
so he asked the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said that once I
decided to follow you,

you'd walk with me all the way.
But I've noticed that during times of
trouble,
there is only one set of
footprints.

I don't understand why you left me
when I needed you the most."

The Lord answered, "My precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial, when
you see only
one set of footprints,
That is when I was carrying you."
