We celebrate the harvest and give thanks to the Lord every
November which is called "Thanksgiving".

Thanksgiving is a time of gratitude to God, our Creator and Provider,
whose guidance and care go before us...
and whose love is with us forever.

When you think of Thanksgiving, you think of turkey dinner,
pumpkin pie,
Macy's parade, football, and getting together with families.
But the most important reason we celebrate Thanksgiving
is to thank Jesus for everything He has given to us.
That is how Thanksgiving started with
the Pilgrims and the Indians.

'Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything,
in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.'
Ephesians 5:20

Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever.
1 Chronicles 16:34

Thanksgiving is the expression of gratitude and the
giving of thanks.
Being thankful is a feeling and a show of gratitude.

Thanksgiving is a time to praise and thank Jesus, who has
given
us so much. This is also something we need to
do every day,
not just Thanksgiving Day.

'Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
And into His courts with praise.

Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.'
Psalms 100:4
