The Catholic church teaches:
The Immaculate Conception means that Mary, whose
conception
was brought about the normal way, was conceived without
original sin or its stain—that’s what
"immaculate" means: without stain.
The essence of original sin consists in the deprivation of
sanctifying grace, and its stain is a corrupt nature.
Mary was preserved from these defects by God’s grace; from the
first instant of her existence she was in the state of
sanctifying
grace and was
free from the corrupt nature
original sin brings.
Since this term is in the
perfect tense, it indicates that Mary
was graced in the past but with continuing effects in the
present.
So, the grace Mary enjoyed was not a result of the angel’s
visit.
In fact, Catholics hold, it extended over the whole of her
life, from
conception onward.
She was in a state of sanctifying grace from the first
moment of
her existence.

The Bible never teaches
anything about the
"immaculate conception" of Mary.
In fact, the Bible clearly teaches the exact opposite
concerning
Mary.
"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh
after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together
become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good,
no, not one."
Romans 3:10-12
The only person who ever walked this earth without sin
was the Lord Jesus.
We know this is true because the Bible clearly says:
"For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that
we
might be made the righteousness of God in him."
2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 4:15
Mary's heart was not "immaculate"
(i.e., free from stain and blemish, without fault or error).
Only Jesus was without sin.
2nd Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 4:15
The teaching of the Immaculate Heart of Mary is religion, not
truth.
It is a man-made doctrine of the Catholic Vatican, the
Holy See,
and not of God's Word.
